Hope for America

With the country’s current situation, the only hope for America is Jesus

In today’s society, violence and other evil acts are increasingly becoming the norm. America is no exception. The country has long strayed from the principles of its founding fathers. Hope for America is needed now more than ever.

Although hailed as the greatest nation on the planet, America is slowly falling prey to the devil’s plans for its destruction. People seem to have given up on God—ironic for a nation whose motto is “In God we trust.” As much as citizens would like to think that this country’s leaders are the ones who will lead it back to the path of greatness, they’re not the permanent solutions to the problems. Psalm 146:3–4 reminds people to “Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation. When his breath departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day, his plans perish.”

With Satan appearing to be the victor of this war, is there any hope for America left?

The answer is yes. If you think there’s no hope for America now, you don’t have to worry—all is not lost for this nation.

The only hope for America is Jesus. If leaders and politicians of this world have an expiration date Jesus doesn’t. People should not just sit back and not take action—rallying around Him is the best course of action. Since whatever happens in this country will most likely affect other nations around the world, saving America means giving the world a fighting chance.

Second Chronicles has Jesus assuring His people that their prayers have not fallen on deaf ears: “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” Instilling hope for America means believing and working together with Christ to stop evil from completely taking over society.

Change doesn’t take effect overnight, nor does it only take one man to do the job. People have to do more than just pray. They should unite and use God’s message of love as a medium for repairing this nation. In this seemingly gloomy world, hope for America is not lost.

Do you believe that there’s still hope for America? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
